Cool Kids & Chilled Anxiety Programs
Cool Kids (ages 7–12) and Chilled (ages 13–17) are evidence-based programs designed to help children and teens understand and manage anxiety. Developed by Macquarie University, these programs give young people practical, age-appropriate skills to build confidence and take on the things that worry them.
At Betta Days, these programs are delivered in a warm, relaxed, non-clinical space so kids and teens can settle in and actually engage.
We also work closely with parents throughout the program, helping you understand the strategies your child is learning so you can support them at home.
We offer both formats to suit your family's needs:
- One-on-one sessions — individualised pacing and focus, tailored to your child's specific challenges
- Group sessions (minimum of 3 participants) — kids and teens often feel more supported when they realise others their age face similar worries too. Sharing the experience with peers can make anxiety feel less isolating, while building connection and confidence along the way.

Circle of Security Parenting
Circle of Security Parenting is an evidence-based program that helps parents and carers build stronger, more secure relationships with their children. It draws on decades of attachment research to give you practical tools for understanding your child's needs, responding with confidence, and building a lasting sense of connection and trust.
We also believe this program should be accessible to everyone. That's why we run a free 6-week course every term, offered to families who may otherwise fall through the cracks and miss out on this kind of support.
We offer both formats to suit your family's needs:
- One-on-one sessions — a personalised approach, focused on your family's specific dynamics and goals
- Group sessions (minimum of 2 people) — the added benefit of learning alongside other parents, sharing experiences, and realising you're not alone in the challenges of parenting
